De Engelstalige Gamesradar heeft een preview online gezet over de herfst in De Sims 3 Jaargetijden en er zitten ook nieuwe screens bij.
Autumn festivals
Halloween is just one of the main festivities that happen in the fall, and even though we didn’t get a chance to see what kind of shenanigans take place during this holiday, we did get to take part in the fall festival downtown.
As the temperature and landscape changes, the activities will as well. You can help prepare your Sim for a pie-eating contest by consuming an unnatural amount of pie each day. But just being able to wander through town and browse the concession stands is a treat, because you’ll find items that wouldn’t be available in your build/buy mode, like an…apple bobbing tank!

Op de officiële Facebook van SimCity staan drie foto’s van verschillende stadia van de ‘Wind Farm Power Plant’, een veld met windmolens dus.
Het vierde en tevens laatste stadium zal er vandaag ook op staan, zodra dat zo is updaten wij dit bericht uiteraard.
[UPDATE]: Inmiddels staat ook het vierde stadium van de ‘Wind Farm Power Plant’ online, klik op het vierde plaatje om deze te bekijken. Overigens staat er in de beschrijving bij dat ook de windrichting effect heeft op de molens.
As an added bonus, Wind Farm Power Plants also easily indicate which way the wind is blowing, which is helpful when deciding where you want to zone your industry, that way you can make sure the air pollution blows away from your residential and commercial zones instead of towards them.

RV: We think for spring as a time for new beginnings, and flowers aren’t the only things in bloom. This is a time young love is at its peak and Sims attending the spring festival can seek out an attractive companion at the kissing booth, meet up with a mate on the dance floor or even try their luck with online dating. In addition, during the spring festival, Sims will be able to get their faces painted with designs such as bunnies or hearts, or visit the concession stand for a taste of seasonal foods like grasshopper pie, fruit punch and adorable freezer bunny pops. There’s even an egg hunt for the kids and the young at heart!
Summer is a time to soak up the sun. Sims can visit the beach and for the first time ever on PC take a swim in the ocean! Not to mention, they can throw a pool party, skate around the roller rink or head to the park to kick around a soccer ball. For Sims looking to get out of the sun, they can head to the tanning booth to get a golden glow.
