CG.biz: The Sims 2 is so huge that attracting its entire user base to The Sims 3 is hard enough work in itself – do you think The Sims 3 will appeal to a wider audience than its predecessor?
GR: Definitely. The game has more depth, so gamers will find a quirky game with a rich, strategy filled centre. Our creative tools are easier to use, so players who were previously overwhelmed by Build Mode or Create-A-Sim will be sharing fantastic dream homes or famous actresses in no time. Finally, the open world lets us do things that no previous Sims game could do. I think the creative possibilities with that alone will draw in lots of new players.
