World of the Sims heeft uit de Nederlandse Hands-on video van De Sims Middeleeuwen het nieuwe, Nederlandse logo gehaald. Het was al bekend dat De Sims Middeleeuwen een nieuw logo had gekregen en het logo was al in het Engels verschenen. Misschien komt de nieuwe website van De Sims Middeleeuwen ook snel online, aangezien de oude website de informatie en screenshots van het spel niet meer dekt.
Vandaag is het 19e nummer van dit mooie magazine over De Sims online gekomen. Ik heb het even snel doorgebladerd en het ziet er weer allemaal prachtig uit en volgens mij is het ook een extra dik nummer. En je kunt het gewoon online lezen!
For many of us, the beautiful fall leaves are now all scattered on the ground and the landscape is no longer on fire with the vibrant colors of Fall. Pumpkins, once smiling and glowing, are now relegated to the compost heap. The days are getting shorter and the air is distinctly chillier. There may even be frost in the mornings and the smell of smoke wafts through neighborhoods where fireplaces are lit. Couples snuggle and little closer and cozy duvets are thrown on the beds. As some of us are rejoicing that soon it will snow, and the skis and skates will come out, the rest of us are beginning to plan our winter hibernation, stocking up on cocoa, tea and wooly socks.

Zoals als elke week heeft Dutch Charts de verkoopcijfers voor games weer online gezet. Aangezien De Sims Na Middernacht en Console uit is draait het om meerdere lijstjes.
Om te beginnen met De Sims 3 Na Middernacht, die is gestegen van nummer 8 naar nummer 3. In de PC-lijst staat Na Middernacht natuurlijk op nummer 1. De Sims 3 basis-spel is gestegen van nummer 7 naar nummer 5 en De Sims 3 Ambities is gedaald van nummer 9 naar nummer 10.
Accessoires pakketten (als De Sims 3 Luxe en De Sims 3 Supersnelle Accessoires) staan nooit in deze Dutch Charts top 10 lijstjes.
De Sims 3 voor Playstation 3 is gestegen van nummer 9 naar nummer 7 in het Playstation 3 rijtje. De Sims 3 voor Xbox360 is binnengekomen op nummer 9. Ook is De Sims 3 voor DS binnengekomen in het rijtje, namelijk op nummer 10. De Sims 3 voor de Wii komt volgende week uit en zal dan ook wel in het rijtje staan.
De Sims Middeleeuwen krijgt steeds meer aandacht aangezien het spel vordert en het einde nabij komt. Het duurt nog wel een paar maanden voor dat De Sims Middeleeuwen in de winkel ligt maar de eerste previews komen online. In deze preview staat niet veel nieuwe informatie, maar het is wel leuk om te lezen.
Each Sim you create does things their own way. You can create a wizard and have them solve quests in their own way. One quest might have you locating a missing child. Each Sim has a different approach to achieving their goals. A wizard could amble around asking townsfolk for clues, but it’s much easier to use a Jedi-style mind trick to coax them into telling you where to find the child. Progress as a wizard and you’ll gain the ability to memorise spells. Then again, you can choose not to follow quests and do your own thing, or just have them mill around carrying out their daily responsibilities. This is The Sims after all.
